The initial title of this article was “Ten Ways to Rock Your Wife’s World in 2010” but I realized that my target audience was men.  A man that anticipated reading the article with that title would already be practicing it, but I'm looking the man that would benefit most from this article. That'd be the average man, too often consumed with pleasing himself and meeting his own needs in the marriage relationship.  The Bible says in Ephesians 5 that we should love our wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it.  That is selfless love!  That is giving to meet one’s needs without regard to whether you get what you want out of the deal. 

It is true that our Creator designed sex.  He created us to be sexual beings.  It brings no more pleasure to God that Christians have a cold, boring marriage bed, than it would bring pleasure to Da Vinci to put the Mona Lisa in a dark closet or bring pleasure to John Bunyan to have his classic Pilgrim’s Progress in a box of never-read books in your garage.  Sinners are having too much sex, and Christians not enough!  Immodest body-worshipers are consumed with how their body looks, and Christians don’t give enough thought to it!  Sinners are consumed with pleasing their lovers, and Christians could care less.  Sinners are consumed with nude images of strangers, but Christian couples turn off the lights before sex.  What’s wrong with this?  It is not God’s will. 

During my medical training, I have asked pediatricians which vaccines they thought were most important, and the uniform response was that they all were important because they all were recommended. None of the pediatricians with whom I trained offered informed consent to the patients with regard to which vaccines were manufactured from aborted fetal tissue. Informed parents are more likely to object to questionable vaccines, and we can’t have that. The opinions of the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) are Scripture and to dissent is heresy.

Enter the medical heretic.

Physicians typically look at vaccination as a way to eradicate disease in society. Even if the chances of a negative consequence of a vaccine are much more likely for an individual patient than the chances of a negative consequence of a disease, physicians still routinely recommend the vaccines because they are treating society, not simply treating a patient.

As a physician, my day is packed with counseling and treating the emotional and mental disturbances of many of my patients.  Most of my therapy and counseling deals with  making the proper diagnosis and relieving symptoms - I rarely have time to identify and address the root causes of psychological problems and provide the appropriate counseling.  If you have to wait longer than an hour in the waiting room, it is probably because I have spent an extensive amount of time trying to counsel a troubled patient.  This tract was birthed out of a desire to treat my patients who suffer from emotional disturbances with more than just medication and in a manner that respects the patients who are waiting patiently in the waiting room.

First, let me give you some encouragement.  If you are suffering from severe depression or anxiety, I want to let you know that there is light at the end of your dark tunnel - and it's not found in a pill!  The God who created you loves you, and does not want you to be miserable.  I believe that God's Word - the Holy Bible - holds the key that, if not cures, greatly alleviates psychological symptoms.

Why am I a Christian? It is not because I am scared of going to hell. Jesus calls hell a place of everlasting punishment, eternal torment, where the worms that eat at your flesh never die and the fire will never be quenched. It is a dark place of unspeakable thirst, extreme pain, and misery - you could not even dream of a place of such horror and pain! It is where sinners and unbelievers will spend eternity without end - no hope, no relief, no rest, no drink, no forgiveness, only unending pain and despair, weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:41-42, Luke 6:19-29, Mark 9:42-48). It is the last place I ever, ever want to be! The fear of Him who can destroy both body and soul in hell forever was the beginning of the knowledge of God for me (Proverbs 1:7, Luke 12:4-5). The fear of hell snatched this sleeping sinner out of His stupor and made me scared of offending God. But it is not the primary reason I am a Christian.

Contrary to popular belief, there is a tremendous consensus in the scientific community about when life begins. This is hardly controversial. If the claim was made that life was discovered on another planet, for example, there are well-defined criteria to which we could refer to conclusively determine whether the claim was accurate. How do scientists distinguish between life and non-life?

As I gazed at the horrifying realism of the brutal and sadistic beatings, torture, and crucifixion of the Son of God, my heart pounded, my hands grew numb, and my mind was filled with rage. Oh, the hate! The heartless cruelty! The excruciating abuse of the Son of man by the bloodthirsty Jewish mob and the complicit tyrannical Roman rulers! I could barely contain myself.

I spoke with a pro-lifer recently who did some hard time behind bars a few years ago for doing a "pro-life rescue". His name was Cal Zastrow (he is presently the Field Coordinator for the Constitution Party). He was one of the first "pro-life rescuers" to be prosecuted by the FACE Act (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) that Congress passed in 1994. His crime was joining with other "rescuers" on the property of an abortion clinic, kneeling down in prayer, and refusing to move when told to do so. They shut down the child-killing center for a day and lives were saved as a result! Before the FACE Act was passed, such "rescues" would earn them a day to a week in jail, but with the FACE Act, pro-lifers started facing months to years.

"JUDGE NOT, LEST YE BE JUDGED" is often quoted by THE HYPOCRITES to those who PUBLICLY OPPOSE SIN.

Let's look at the passage in its context:

MATTHEW 7:1-5:

"Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother's eye."

I. Parents are the Chief Educators of Children

Parents are not only the chief protectors and disciplinarians, but they are also the God-ordained chief educators of their children. After giving His law to Israel, God commands them: “These words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.” (Deuteronomy 6:6-9) Obedience to God’s law is not the only order, but teaching it to your children and assuring their obedience as well.
