Obama Administration Seeks to Deny Pro-Life Medical Professionals the Right to Refuse to Kill Children
"If you don't want an abortion, don't have one," the raving-at-the-mouth pro-choicers insist.
As a pro-life advocate in medical school, I was told, "If you don't want to do abortions, don't do them!"
If Obama's dream for American healthcare materializes, that will not be possible for pro-life healthcare workers anymore. Last month, the Obama administration moved to overturn regulation designed to protect the conscience rights of health care workers, so that they aren't forced by their superiors to participate in the aborting of an innocent human being. (To be reminded why we shouldn't be involved in the abortion of little pre-born children, click HERE.)
If Obama is successful is ending this protection, hospitals and even our own government may discriminate against doctors and medical professionals who do not want to participate in activities they find morally objectionable. Medical students may be denied physician licenses if they do not commit abortions when ordered by their superiors. Religious hospitals may be forced to allow abortionists to butcher babies at their facility or else may be forced to close their doors. Medical researchers may be be forced to participate in embryo-killing stem cell research or else face harsh penalties.
The Department of Health and Human Services allows the public one month to comment on new regulations before they go into affect. You may visit http://www.freedom2care.org/ or else E-mail your comments directly to proposedrescission@hhs.org. Tell them to retain the conscience regulations! Contact your Congressman and insist that they protect the rights of pro-life medical professionals.
Pro-life patients should prefer pro-life doctors. Does your doctor kill babies on the side? Do you know for sure? Visit the webpage of the Association of Pro-Life Physicians today and make sure you aren't trusting your health to a doctor who has the blood of the innocent children of God on his hands. Abortion isn't healthcare: it's murder!

Revelation 13, a Metaphor for Today
The Bible speaks of a government in the last days that "makes war with the Lamb" (Rev. 13). This totalitarian state demands worship of its image - "the beast." This government mandates a "mark" on the forehead or back of the hand in order to buy or sell. This government slays many martyrs. "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man..." The mark represents the worship of man.
Throughout the book of Revelation, there is a distinction between those who "worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark" and those who "had gotten victory over the beast and his image, and his mark." The former are judged and condemned to the lake of fire; the latter are received into heaven's glory to rule and to reign with Christ forever.
What's so evil about receiving a government-mandated mark in order to buy or sell? One must take care of his family, right? One must obey the "higher powers", right? (Romans 13:1-4) "Obey those that have rule over you," right? Receiving the "mark" is evil because one must violate God's law and worship the image of the state in order to receive it. To worship the state is to commit idolatry, to rebel against God Almighty. God is the "highest power", and disobeying God's law to submit to man's evil mandates is to receive a "mark" that brings condemnation.
The State Demands, "Render Unto Caesar That Which Is God's"
The Roman pagans asked the church patriarch Polycarp, "What harm is it to say ‘Lord Caesar' and sacrifice, and save yourself?"

The Indictment
The indictment has been well publicized. On November 8, Mississippi failed to pass their Personhood Amendment, a law which would have criminalized all abortion in Mississippi. Now Mississippians can no longer point their finger the Supreme Court for abortion in Mississippi. They can no longer blame judicial tyranny for treading their democratic consensus underfoot in legalizing abortion. They can no longer blame the pro-choicers for the 3,000 Mississippians dismembered annually in their state. Polls show that the vast majority of Mississippi voters claim to be pro-life and against abortion, yet more than 55% of Mississippians voted against their Personhood Amendment.
Statistically, thousands of Mississippians who claimed to be pro-life went to the polls on November 8, 2011, and voted against the end of abortion within Mississippi. They've sown the seeds of death in the soil of the Mississippi delta - what do you think they will reap? Before God punishes the nation for its sin, He punishes the salt for tolerating it (Matthew 5:13).
The Doom
The Bible is clear that God's curse resides upon the land where innocent people are killed without justice. (See Numbers 35:30-34, Jeremiah 18:7-10, Proverbs 6:16-17, Psalm 9:17, Jeremiah 7:5-7, Isaiah 1:15-17.) God is longsuffering, but sooner or later, judgment will fall on a land that sheds innocent blood.
Numbers 35:30-34 tells us that when innocent blood is shed in the land, the land is "defiled" and "polluted" and only justice can cleanse it. In Deuteronomy 21:1-9, we are taught that the curse of innocent blood falls upon the community nearest the crime. This curse can only be lifted through the dissemination of justice. It is the local community where the assault has been committed that is ultimately responsible for punishing assailants to protect the innocent.

Press Release regarding Mississippi's Personhood Amendment
The original Hippocratic was a commitment to never intentionally kill a human being, including a human being in the womb. "I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody if asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly, I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy." (circa 400 B.C.)
After physicians in Germany were found guilty of experimenting on Jewish concentration camp prisoners in World War II, the Declaration of Geneva was adopted by the World Medical Association in 1948, which stated, "I will maintain the utmost respect for human life, from the time of its conception."
Adhering to the honorable medical tradition of "First, do no harm", the Association of Pro-Life Physicians fully endorses Mississippi's Personhood Amendment, which would amend the state constitution to protect the inalienable right to life of all Mississippians.
Restoring the sovereignty of God over man, man over nature, the Bible over tradition, the states over the federal government, and the church over the gates of hell
God over man
In preparation for my coming mission trip to India, I have studied the pagan philosophies of Hinduism, which is the prominent religion of India. It has helped me understand how the philosophies of paganism have infiltrated our own culture, even our American churches. Relative morality, multi-culturalism, environmentalism, Christless libertarianism, raw democracy, humanism, - these false beliefs have turned the proper order of the universe on its head. These philosophies are calling good evil and evil good, and the church has been asleep at the wheel. The role of the church is to restore proper jurisdiction to things, to crown Jesus King of Kings and Lord of Lords and to cooperate with the Father in making Jesus' foes His footstool. The role of the church is to restore sovereignty.
Sovereignty, n., the quality or state of having supreme rank, power, or authority.
Only God has absolute sovereignty. But God doesn't horde authority. He delegates it to others. From the beginning, God established a jurisdiction for angels, men, and creatures. He created man with a purpose, to walk with Him in obedience and to have dominion over nature. He created woman to be Adam's helper. He gave them children over which they were to have authority, hopefully to train them to serve their Creator with pure hearts.
“Don’t shoot a coyote in the summer. It’s covered with ticks, and the hide too ugly to keep.”
That was the advice I received from a local hunter when I told him that I intended to shoot coyotes on my property that were eating my chickens and one of my ducks.
I caught a chicken-killing raccoon in a trap recently, and was disgusted to see it covered with ticks in all the places it couldn’t see. It was a good object lesson for the kids, how sin will suck the life out of you and you often can’t see the parasites without the mirror of God’s Word.
Foreseeing Evil
"A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished." Proverbs 22:3
Over 650 Tornadoes spawned in April according to the National Weather Service. That shatters national record by nearly a hundred more than the last three Aprils combined.
This month, the Mississippi River flooded more land than it has in the past forty years.
2010 saw a record number of earthquakes.
Oh how many lives could have been saved if people were only prepared.
My pastor's wife was a passenger in a tragic motor vehicle accident several years ago when the driver fell asleep at the wheel. As a result of that accident, she almost lost her ability to walk. On a trip out of town recently, she commented that she was unable to sleep in a car as a result of that accident.
My thoughts went to how many accidents I had in my life that were avoidable if only I hadn't been "asleep at the wheel." When I was ten years old, I swung from a tire swing two stories in the air from a tree fort I had built. Unfortunately, the tire was tied to the tree branch overhead by copper telephone wire, which, of course, stretched and snapped, sending me speeding to the ground where I landed on my back and was knocked unconscious. My brother found me with a tire around my waist on the ground three hours later. (My head lay in the dirt between two large roots that were sticking out of the ground.)
Jesus warned his followers that when they saw Jerusalem surrounded by armies, they should flee to the hills. How, you might wonder, could they flee to the hills if Jerusalem was surrounded by armies? Titus, in A.D. 70, abandoned his plan to lay siege to Jerusalem, and Jews celebrated their divine deliverance. However, the Christians who remembered what Jesus prophesied took this opportunity to leave the city and flee to the hills. Titus soon returned and laid siege to Jerusalem until the Jews were feeding off and murdering each other. Jerusalem was totally destroyed, but the Christians survived - if they were prepared. It's not easy to live in the hills unless you were prepared.“You and three others were in a boat in the middle of the ocean. You are healthy and fit, one is morbidly obese and out of shape, one is an elderly woman with cancer, and one is a child with Downs syndrome. You must row at least three days and nights to get to land, and there is no food and barely enough water to sustain no more than three of you. If the four of you split it four ways, all of you will die. Which one should you throw overboard to keep the others alive?”
This was my first exposure to relative morality in a classroom at the Florida State University in the 1990s. Many were thoroughly shaken by the argument, and it was horrifying to hear students argue about which person in the boat was most disposable. Rather than shaking my faith in Christianity, these arguments strengthened my faith. It was plain to see that abandoning God’s Word would lead ordinary college students to drown an obese man or an elderly woman, or to murder and eat a Down’s syndrome child. If placed in certain circumstances in which they speculated more good could be done from their actions than harm, these college students would commit atrocities, push Jews into ovens, euthanize their loved ones, cannibalize children, or abort babies.
The pro-life movement in the United States has proven its willingness to push one person out of the boat in order to try to save another. In our compromise, we become the greatest hindrance to occupying the Promised Land of liberty and justice for all. In our capitulation to arbitrary standards that reek of godlessness, we become accomplices in the Abortion Holocaust and violators of the spirit of the sixth commandment.
